How to withdraw your winnings?

When all the hard work is done, it’s time to get the rewards by clicking the withdraw button. As we have previously informed, licensed online casinos are required to keep your funds in secure, segregated accounts.

Also – all winnings must be guaranteed.

So if there is R10,000 in your account, the operator is obliged to pay the amount at any time. Finally, payments must be made through a secure payment method within a reasonable time.

To make everything go smoothly, these things must be in place:

1. Turnover requirements

If you have an active bonus, you may not be able to make a withdrawal. If you choose to waive the bonus and ignore the wagering requirements, you can make a withdrawal, but you lose the bonus.

This happens because every casino bonus comes with a catch. For example, if you get a bonus of R1000 with a wagering requirement of 35x, it means that you must spend 35 times R1000, (R35000) if you want to withdraw your winnings.

This is also the reason why in some cases it can be smart to play without a bonus.

Withdrawal limits

All legitimate online casinos will have minimum and maximum withdrawal limits.

At the top, you should be able to withdraw up to R200,000 in a single transaction. There are also casinos that have less than this, but you can withdraw the entire amount over several transactions.

There are also ways to take out more on request.

3. Time limits

Deposits to online casinos are processed immediately but that does not apply to withdrawals.

All requests must be checked by a security team / software.

This usually takes 24-48 hours.

Once the request is checked, the processing time depends on the method you used.

E-wallets usually take a few hours, while bank transfers can take a couple of days, depending on which bank you use.

4. Account Restrictions

To help you control your gaming budget, all licensed online casinos offer account restrictions. These can be used for deposits, withdrawals and bet amounts.

5. Security checks

Before your first withdrawal request is processed, the casinos will ask you to confirm your identity. You do this by submitting an official form of ID for review, and sometimes even a photo of a credit card (with some digits and CVV code hidden)
